The ceremony for Hon.Governor’s presentation of the policy statement for the sixth provincial council of the western province will be held on 30th(30.04.2014)at 11.15 a.m at the Bandaranaike Memorial International confernce hall ,Bauddhaloka Mawatha,Colombo 07.

This policy Statement will be presented by the Governor of the western province S.Alavi Mowlana.

All the ministers and members of the western provincial council led by the chief minister of the western province officers and a large number of chief officers of institutions related to the provincial councils are to participate in this occasion.

This ceremony consists of several programmes including members selected to the sixth provincial council of the western province by the election held on March 29th posing for a group photograph along with the Governor and a Salutation by the Sri Lanka police to the Governor.

This occasion is organized by the council secretariat of the western province.
