As the Secretary of the Western Provincial Council, Mr. Hemantha Samarakoon, a senior officer in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service assumed duties yesterday (15.02.2012) in his new post at the Council Secretariat of the Western Province located at the Independence Square, Colombo 07.
Hon. Chairman of the Western Provincial Council, Sunil Wijerathne, Mr. M.C.L. Rodrigo who served as the acting secretary of the Council Secretariat of the Western Province and the wife of Mr. Hemantha Samarakoon , Mrs. Deepa Kolonnage and several distinguished guests participated in this occasion.
